About this blog

The Leadership Network Books Blog is expanding its scope to cover all kinds of books that leaders are reading, and the practical insights and ideas unpacked in those books. The blog was relaunched on December 3rd, 2007.

This blog aims to be the place for practical insights from books that leaders are reading. I remembered that Howard Hendricks used to say that "leaders are readers", and wouldn't it be great to have one blog that focuses on what leaders are reading these days.

This blog's content is written by a team of contributors who are in various roles in Christian leadership. We are inviting well-read contributors to blog about books their reading, covering a wide range of topics, including: leadership, spirituality, management, society & culture, trends, business, biography, and history. See the list of contributors >>

More about Leadership Network

Since 1984, Leadership Network has fostered church innovation and growth through strategies, programs, tools and resources that are consistent with our far-reaching mission: to identify, connect and help high-capacity Christian leaders multiply their impact.

It is our hope that our investment in high capacity, innovative leaders will result in the distribution of information and ideas to others. Many of the churches participating in our Leadership Communities will become teachers themselves, sharing what they have learned to a broader and larger audience.    Learn more ...
