Hello everyone, this week is the official re-launch of this Leadership Network Books blog, so now with our expanded scope, we'll cover all kinds of books that leaders are reading. I've been more than pleasantly surprised to hear of the enthusiasm of so many leaders to jump in as participanting contributors to blog about what they're reading here. Special thanks to every one of them in advance!
We want this blog to be the one-stop for you to check in on a "ticker tape" of books that leaders are reading that you can consider adding to your reading list. I don't have a lot of bells and whistles or fan fare for this relaunch, as I'm in Dallas this week for staff meetings, so this is what it is. Do spread the word! And for your convenience, you can this to your blog reader, or subscribe by email to get convenient delivery to your inbox every time there's a new book mentioned (use the blue subscribe box at the right sidebar).
While here in Dallas, I was able to get a peek at 2 brand new books hot off the press by my colleague Dr. Warren Bird, Missing in America: Making an Eternal Difference in the World Next Door by Warren Bird and Tom Clegg + Innovative Transitions: How Change Can Take Your Church to the Next Level by Warren Bird and Dale Galloway. When I get my complimentary copy, hint hint, I'll add a blog entry about the big ideas in these books, and how they can practically play out.
This is great! As part of the leadership of a church plant "in planning", the recommendations are so valuable. Thanks for relaunching (and if there's ever an opportunity to review, I would love to!)
