Off-Road Disciplines conference notes
In October 2006, Dr. Earl Creps was involved in an Off-Road Disciplines conference at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Dr. Creps explored various aspects pertaining to church leadership in our times, noting that: "... the transition to a missional perspective is not an organizational fix, or a programmatic solution, but a personal transaction between a leader, the Holy Spirit, and the ministry." The conference notes have a great list of questions to consider, because a lot of this transition is more about the questions than prescriptive answers: see these notes from session 1, session 2, session 3, and session 4.
In addition to talking about books, this blog is a place to hear from the thought leaders who write those books. Next week, we'll talk with Dr. Earl Creps and check-in with him about responses to the Off-Road Disciplines book and his latest perspectives & insights.
